Although I have worked as a professional graphic designer for over 25 years, I have been designing since I was in grade school. I began by creating unique and personalized cards for friends and family right down to placing my 'logo' on the back of each card. At that time, it was my name with an eighth note on top of it. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work for three greeting card and stationery companies.

 

My design experience is quite broad and includes freelance as well as agency and corporate work. I also have years of experience with not-for-profits, associations and the arts.

 

I am comfortable with all aspects of project work, from the initial consultation, to creating
the design, budget and timeline. I especially enjoy events and marketing campaigns. I have extensive experience with working with internal and external business partners, vendors and printers.

 

I continually try to stay updated on design trends and keep my skills current with the Adobe Creative Suite. Currently, I am working towards a UX Certificate with a design concentration. I feel this will only help me create targeted, measurable design; getting the right information to the right people at the right time.
